SWINDON have suffered a blow in the build-up to Friday night’s Elite League visit to the East of England Showground.
The fifth-placed Robins will be without in-form Grzegorz Zengota who has been recalled to race in a Polish league match the same night.
Swindon will operate rider replacement for the Under 21 World Cup winner in a match that will go a long way to deciding the end-of-season play-off spots.
Peterborough are currently occupying the fourth and final place just one point ahead of last season’s beaten Grand Finalists.
Both clubs have raced the same number of matches and Friday’s clash is the first of three successive home matches for the Panthers in the space of seven days.
After Swindon’s visit, table-topping Poole are in town on Monday (July 19) while defending champions Wolverhampton are at the Showground on Thursday, July 22.
