SKORA OUT, KLINDT IN
WOLVERHAMPTON will be without their title-winning comeback star Adam Skornicki for the crunch top-four visit to Peterborough.

Denmark World Cup pick Nicolai Klindt has been passed fit to return to the Parrys International Wolves line-up but 2008 Poland Champion Adam Skornicki is definitely out of the Elite League clash on Thursday night (July 22).

Klindt missed Wolves’ Knock Out Cup win over Coventry on Monday night and Skornicki twisted his knee doing his famous celebratory ‘donut’ at the end of a race.

He has seen a specialist in Sweden and after an examination withdrew from the squad for the East of England Showground showdown.

The defending champions are currently second in the table behind Poole while Peterborough are fourth and aiming to keep their play-off bid on track.

Wolves can operate rider replacement for Skornicki, who was in their championship winning side last season and it means his programmed rides can be covered by Klindt, Ty Proctor and reserves Ludvig Lindgren and Matthew Wethers.

Peterborough have no reported injury problems and will be tracking the same line-up that has picked up wins over Swindon and Poole in the last week.
