ALL CLEAR FOR DAK
PETERBOROUGH asset Dakota North has been given the all-clear following a crash during Newcastle’s Premier League defeat at Scunthorpe on Friday night.

North came down in his third ride, smashing into the fence after he tried to team up with partner Mark Lemon for a Diamonds’ 5-1.

There were initial fears that Dak, who was taken by ambulance from the track to hospital, had suffered neck or back injuries.

But after x-rays he was released to return to his Milton Keynes base an hour or so after being admitted.

He said: “Everything is okay. I took a bit of a buffeting in the fence but I’m feeling okay now and hope to be able to ride on Sunday.”
